Description |
TAIR | A member of Class II KN1-like homeodomain transcription factors factors (together with KNAT3 and KNAT4), with greatest homology to the maize knox1 homeobox protein. Regulates photomorphogenic responses and represses late steps in gibberellin biosynthesis. KNAT5 promoter activity showed cell-type specific pattern along longitudinal root axis, primarily in the epidermis of the distal end of primary root elongation zone. |
