TAIREncodes ZFHD1, a member of the zinc finger homeodomain transcriptional factor family. Binds to the 62 bp promoter region of ERD1 (early responsive to dehydration stress 1). Expression of ZFHD1 is induced by drought, high salinity and abscisic acid.
